TURN 2 / YR 2415The Ecumene
Turn Action Results Six expeditions are held, two already inhabited planets are scouted, one unclaimed uninhabited system with significant resources is found*, and three of the six expeditions do not return. Primary hypothesis: Piracy.
Several reconnaissance relay stations are set up in the extreme orbits of your inhabited, uninhabited, and galactic northern, unclaimed, uninhabited systems. One of them in the unclaimed, uninhabited systems, is destroyed.
As limited communications are reestablished, calls for help, reports of Ecumene oppression, and black-market deals occur.
The refit will be finished by Turn 3
Eighteen uninhabitable systems of no resource value are found, and 1 uninhabitable system with significant resources found**.
Large riots are quelled, but protests continue across all planets, and the capital space station itself.
M98A3 prototype(research part1) finished by turn 6
LE-247 Annihilator prototype finished by turn 4
C-Class Battleship designed complete by turn 10
No discoveries or breakthroughs made in any project.
Nation EventsWith the creation of the Irim Consortium, coordinated piracy attacks have been made in the uninhabited system claimed by the Ecumene, damaging mining stations, hindering Tylium production, and even commandeering several Ecumene transport vessels.
A surge of nationalism has struck with a previous silent demographic within the Ecumene, clashing with the protests over the year. Over 8 months of the clashes, seventeen have died.
With the large protests and ‘liberation’ movements continue across the Ecumene planets, a new drug culture has sprung up, which causes a large increase in the usage of recreational drug use. Many of these opiates have come through illegal means, and so far an estimated 2,000 are believed to have died from either ODs or through complications in these drug deals.
Osean Federation
Turn Action Results30 Earth Type Fighters complete by Turn 3
Academy expansion complete by Turn 3
Four inhabited systems*** lay under the Osean Federation claim. Two inhabited systems submit to their assimilation into the Osean Federation, one system declares their independence against Osean rule, and the final planet, although not declaring independence or rebellion from the OF, does not submit to assimilation due to an infestation of pirates, and mob rule across the inhabited planetoids.
Embassies and formal dialogues are set up with the Free Republic of Courel and the Merchant Republic of Hailil. Although, the FRC share their displease with your imperial expansion over four systems, both they and the MRH recognize your sovereignty over all four systems.
Trade deal is made with the MRH.
Over the year 66% of the area outlined is explored, with eighteen uninhabitable systems with no significant resources found, three uninhabitable systems with resources of significance are found****, and one inhabitable system is found*****. One Porter/Earth Class Light Warship was lost due to navigational error.
FEDC is set up, although suspicion is brought up over the ‘true’ purpose of the bureau by conspiracy theorists, life among the general population moves on.
The CFDA increases general health by 30% over the year, and general happiness is raised by 16%. Approval of the government rises by 8 points to 67%.
Faulty drugs are cleaned off the shelves, and what little smuggling elements in the Osean Federation disappear.
The FFA bails out small farms and agricultural output rises by 1.2%. Approval of the government rises by 1 point to 68%.
Conservation techniques keeps the soil clean, and appeases the ecological community on Harvest. Government approval rises by 1 point to 69%.
The Emergency Food Relief act ends the food shortages, and has reportedly saved 3,000 lives.
The propaganda campaign is a large success, and government approval is raised by 2 points to 71%
After the education reforms were enacted, the general intelligence of Federation citizens is reported to rise by 5% over the next five years.
The scouting vessels have determined there are six uninhabitable systems with resources detected****** within the OF claimed region of space. One ship is heavily damaged by marauding pirates in the region. The military patrols have managed to destroy eight pirate vessels in the region and capture one (Modified Porter) pirate vessel. The military patrols that have entered Wellington (Claimed Independence System) system have come into combat with a small fleet that claims to protect the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Wellington. Although only small skirmishes have occurred between the two forces, OF forces have identified 1 Jannisary (Earth type) class heavy warship, 1 Exeter class medium warship, 2 Porter class warships, and 4 unidentified vessels that are outfitted with armaments. Over the year, 4 Porter vessels were damaged (light enough to not need port repairs), 1 Porter class was heavily damaged, and 1 Exeter class was heavily damaged. (HD means needs port repairs)
Aegis Point Defense Gun prototype complete by Turn 3 (research part 1)
Impulse Drive development has had a breakthrough in research and has created a prototype, ready for installation on a vessel for testing.
No major developments are made in Project X.
Operation Dark Knight successful.
Nation EventsAfter large government spending throughout the year, a deficit has been created. This has been the cause of many political disagreements throughout congressional sessions.
Patriotic celebrations become more common across all Osean worlds(willing ones) and the day the Osean Federation declared itself a sovereign nation is now celebrated as an informal holiday among most communities and business places.
Free Stellar Imperium
Turn Action ResultsAll three Porter class vessels launched and complete by Turn 4
One Porter-B class vessel launched and complete by Turn 4, the other launched and complete by Turn 5.

A-1 Strike Craft prototype complete by Turn 4
New Orleans design complete by Turn 5
No advances are made on the FTL project.
While testing a new shield theory, the miniature prototype short circuits and shuts down power for half of the capital city, wiping half of the data on the project, and causing huge delays and losses mounting in the millions.
Operation Jester successful.
Nation EventsA new liberal political ideology has become popular throughout the nation, demanding that social medicine and other welfare policies be enacted by the Imperium.
Black market smuggling dies down but it still continues in the more backwater regions of the FSI.
Imperial Sun Clan
Turn Action Results2 Mishimo class finished by Turn 5, 1 Mishimo class finished by Turn 6.
Commercial shipyard finished by Turn 5.
Veterans are very pleased with the government act.
Law is passed, many teenagers are displeased, and several rich and politically anti-establishment find deferrals or shirk training.
Industrial output increases by 2% over the year, and tens of thousands of industrial jobs open up on Boyan.

Academy recruitment rises by 5% as a result of propaganda.
236 officers join the program, and 102 pass the course.
Nation EventsA rise in capitalist enterprises has occurred on Boyan, with several hundred companies being created in one year, however one has taken control of 40% of the titanium production on this planet, called Hiroto Steel.
Materialism has picked up popularity on many planets in the Imperial Sun Clan, as many companies have started the creation of consumer goods such as toys, decorative items, and other products like those.
Sarnoth Republic
Turn Action Results
The law changes are welcomed by the people, giving the government a medium-high approval rating from the lower and middle class demographics. Although the tax does displease some corporations, merchants, and upper class demographics.
Crackdowns on smuggling have led to over 39 busts over the year, however black market smuggling continues throughout the nation. Three VGSA drones are destroyed over the year.
In the area claimed, 13 uninhabitable systems without resources of significant value are found, and 2 uninhabitable systems with significant resources detected******* are found.
75 Fighters complete by turn 3, the remaining 25 complete by turn 4.
All 25 bombers complete by turn 3.
SN1 Corvette design rejected (waaaay too big, unless you mean feet instead of meters)
Nation EventsAs the smuggling ring grows, so has the use of illegal narcotics. Although from a national epidemic, recreational use of black market drugs have shot up over the year, and so far over 80 Sarnoth citizens have died due to drug complications.

Throughout the year only the FRC conquered one planet, three major battles have occurred, and both sides are in search of warships and allies. So far military casualties have been 92,494 for the FRC, and an estimated 180,000 for the IC, with the FRC losing 2 cruisers, 1 heavy warship, 3 medium warships, and 12 light warships, and the IC losing 4 heavy warships, 4 medium warships, 12 light warships, and 32 modified non-warships, excluding civilian and merchant vessel casualties. Total civilian casualties is estimated at 340,000.
Many in the Merchant Republic of Hailil, the Imperial Sun Clan, the Federated States of the Galaxy, and the Free Republic of Courel have called for an international exchange that appropriately prices resources and commodities, as well as provides a stable rate of exchange for different nations’ currencies. Some even call for an international currency to ease trading. So far, many nations and non-nations have created exchanges like what is described, but its now a race to see which will take over as the international exchange of the Milky Way.
