Turn 6 Events:
France in an official broadcast today announces its findings to the world. In this broadcast, France outlines a plot by American sponsored terrorist to carry out terrorist attacks on France as well as Germany. The purpose of these attacks is uncertain but the nature of the attacks seems to be intended to cause a rift among the European powers in Europe. Evidence is presented to foreign dignitaries from UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands as well as representatives of several British Dominions. The evidence clearly points to an attempt by unknown elements within the United States to stir conflict within Europe. Following the presentation by French ministers, the United Kingdom went on record denouncing the plot as barbaric and an affront to everything the allies fought for during the Great War. They also went further to publicly condemn the US government. The League of Nations passed a resolution condemning the actions of the United States calling for its member nations to place economic sanctions on the US.
United States:
Congress begins its inquiry into Presidential Misconduct. In a joint meeting of the Senate and the House of Representatives, Congress hears testimony by Presidential advisors and cabinet officials during which Congress is shocked at the shear scale of the Presidents crimes. Congress immediately votes to begin impeachment hearings and calls for the Presidents arrest echo throughout the Capital.
A firefight breaks out between Federal Officers and the Presidents security detail on the White House lawn. The Officers are forced to retreat and the President declares Martial Law. An Emergency Session of Congress is called. In the middle of the session armed Gunmen storm the Capital Building, enter the congressional chamber and open fire into the assembled representatives. Several senators and congressmen are killed and many more wounded. The gunmen however are driven off by a Major George S. Patton. Patton serving as an aid to the Chief of Staff of the Army saw the gunmen enter the building and open fire. Patton drew his pistols and opened fire on the gunmen killing several causing the others to retreat. He along with local security forces pursued the gunmen into the streets where a firefight broke out. The gunmen managed to escape but their efforts left congress disorganized and in a Panic.
Within hours of the attack, US Army Forces march on the Capital. A division made up mostly of reservist activated by Presidential Order occupy the Capital. Soldiers being occupying government buildings all across Washington DC. However, the soldiers seem to lack a clear command structure as no orders are being given from high command. They clear the government buildings and heard anyone found into holding areas. The Capital Building is also occupied and there is much confusion as members of Congress attempt to restore order. In direct defiance of Presidential Order, General John Pershing, Chief of Staff US Army, gives a general stand down order for all US Army personnel. The General also orders elements of the division occupying Washington to the White House to place the President under arrest. However, upon arrival, they find that the President has fled along with his security personnel and loyal members of the White House Staff.
The whereabouts of the President are currently unknown. However, from an undisclosed location, the President declares that the attempted coup by the military will not succeed and he will not stop until Washington is liberated by those who would usurp control from the legal government. In light of the recent chaos, public opinion is split with many not knowing who to trust. Congress declares the President a fugitive and passes legislation calling for his arrest. However, with the impeachment process stalled, congress does not appear to have any legal basis for passing such a resolution. This is seen by some as an attempt to circumvent the US Constitution cementing support among some circles for the President. Calvin Coolidge is sworn in as President of the US but many question his legitimacy in the face of the crisis.

France Turn 7: United States is embargoed. The US government agrees to pay for damages caused by the Paris bombings as well as set up a pension plan for the families of those killed in the attacks. However, they refuse to offer funds to repay the French for their military mobilization. The US government instead invites the French government to prepare a criminal case against the former President of the United States. The case will be prosecuted in the American Court system along with the criminal charges being put forth by the US government itself. The President and his collaborators will not be allowed to go unpunished. He has committed serious crimes against the United States and his actions against France are unforgivable. You will have the chance to carve out a slice if the Presidents hide once he is in custody. The Mexican government is considering it. Contracts are awarded to the lowest bidder. Reconstruction of the Army Museum has begun. It is expected to take 4 turns. Wagon lits begins work on the new train car. This should take 4 turns All new productions lines have been opened. Your TO&E has been modified to include the new equipment. Current production goal is for each French Infantry squad to have 1 MAS 24 by the end of 1924. Some question the wisdom of having 3 different types of fighter planes in production. However, Nieuport and Dewoitine are both greatful for the contracts as well as their work forces. 3 Duguay Trouin Class cruisers will be laid down. They will take 8 turns to complete. 6 Chacal Class destroyers will be laid down. The first 3 will take 4 turns to complete. The second batch will take 6. 12 Bourrasque class destroyers will be completed. The first 6 will take 3 turns. The second batch will take 6. 6 Requin Class submarines have been authorized. Due to be laid down next turn. Construction will take an additional 2 turns. 6 SS 600 Ton types will be laid down. Construction will take 3 turns MLe 1924 research will take 2 turns Torpedo will take 3 turns Operation Results PM'ed El Presidente de chimichanga: Turn 7
A number of rallies are held across the United States. The President in Exile is secretly moved from location to location hold rallies where he denounces the current government as illegitimate. Radio broadcast are made but these are largely silenced as the President managed to alienate much of the press and any current radio stations are unwilling to air your broadcasts. However, your supporters are able to acquire a small radio set and transmitter. Although short range every night your listened to by thousands of people. "President Calvin Coolidge is nothing but a puppet. Put in place by the military junta that sought to overthrow me. They assaulted the Presidential mansion, attempted to rob me of my freedom. The fact that this broadcast comes to from a secret location, hidden away from the eyes of evil, it a testament to our changed reality. But I assure you, my resolve has never been stronger. I will carry on the fight as long as it takes. I will fight to liberate our beautiful nation from the clutches of tyranny. I call upon Americans everywhere. Resist! Resist Today. Resist Tomorrow! Resist until every last tyrant is driven from our Capital. A government of the people, for the people, by the people, will not perish from this Earth."
United States Turn 7:
A massive manhunt for the former President has begun. The FBI is currently coordinating with local and state authorities to bring the President and his supporters to justice.
The effects of the Presidents speech are felt almost immediately as protest begin in Atlanta, Austin, San Diego and Columbus Ohio. The protest in Colombus Ohio turn violent and the Governor of Ohio calls up the National Guard.
The USA holds its own counter propaganda campaign. John Pershing provides a detailed account of his version of events surrounding the attempted arrest of the President. Because of his status as a war hero, and a trusted figure in the eyes of the American people, Pershings words sway the opinion of many in the US. However, the former President still has his supporters.

France Turn 8 USA continues to be embargoed Mexico wants to know what you will give it in return Every country that is going to join the League of Nations mandate for economic sanctions is already doing so. However, the embargo is having unintended consequences. The Embargo is preventing European countries from paying off their war debts to American banks. As a result, national credit for these countries, including France is beginning to drop rapidly. Due to this trend, many banks in Europe and Asia have become reluctant to issue loans and many are demanding fuel payment from any national entity that owes them money. This banking crisis threatens to destabilize the already fragile world economy. The United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the USA all agree to hold a conference discussing the current naval arms race. US Secretary of State Charles Evan Hughes following Frances lead invites delegates from all 5 countries to meet in Washington DC to discuss limiting further naval construction. All ongoing constructions and projects are ongoing. Production of Pl.2 is NOT approved as you do not have Chinese Air to Air Missiles. (Please specify what the thing is you are building) President in Exile Turn 8
In yet another radio broadcast, now becoming a daily occurrence, the former President of the USA pledges to continue to resist the tyranny of the US government. A government put in place illegally by the military coup. A military supported by devious elements of the French government to undermine the USA. The President goes on to outline the plot against him and urges American's everywhere to rise up against their oppressors. Unfortunately public opinion is starting to turn against the USA. As many of the senators and congressmen who survived the attack on the Capital are returning home to their constituent states and providing their own accounts of events. However, there are many who still support the former President. There are some who are also angry over the French demands, calling it an affront to American honor. As a result, the Governors of Virginia, Georgia and Florida have all begun to openly criticize the weak administration of Calvin Coolidge. Belgium Turn 8
The Last Russian refugees have been transported to the Congo and Belgium. The operation was a resounding success as around 15,000 Russians were successfully transported to Belgium. Another 30,000 have been successfully resettled in the Congo. The Combined Belgian and Japanese efforts also successfully transported an additional 100,000 to Sakhalin Island. The process of integrating the new Russian immigrants is ongoing. However, there is already some unrest among the Russian settlers. Many are campaigning throughout Belgium to rally support for the White Russian cause. It seems that many hope to eventually return home and liberate their country from the Bolsheviks Your propaganda campaign is started. Initial results are not promising. It seems the people in Limburg like being Dutch. USA is embargoed The Fruit companies laugh at you. The destabilization of the USA has, ironically, increased their power in Central America and they are not about to give up their pot of gold. Armstrong Whitworth draws up plans for a battleship meeting those specifications. The design looks very similar to the Revenge Class Battleships.

France Turn 9Embargo continues. Institutions are paid Mexico would like some sort of financial incentive. Either in the form of money or hardware. Your proposal for the venue to be located in London is approved by all parties. The British have already begun setting the table and laying out tea and biscuits for the dignitaries. The Darne 1923 machine gun performs within acceptable limits of reliability. The Darne company has agreed to build a test variant chambered in 7.5mm French. All new productions approved. Production will begin next turn. Test aircraft will be built and first flight will be turn 11. Upon completion of test flights, full production will begin turn 12. Production of MAS 1924 will begin this turn. President in Exile:
Today, US authorities report that the former President, now fugitive has been brought into Custody. His arrest following the president sending members of his inner circle to over a dozen states to rally support for the presidents cause. Members of the delegations were turned into local authorities by civilians who became aware of their presence. Local police departments in Florida, Kansas, Texas and Arizona arrested 12 of the Presidents closest advisors. Upon interrogation they revealed the Presidents whereabouts. The President's holdout in Ohio was soon after raided by FBI agents who stormed the premises. A brief skirmish developed between the former Presidents security detail but they were quickly overwhelmed. The president was captured while bodily trying to climb over a fence where be became stuck after his pants got caught on the fence which left him dangling in the most undignified position imaginable. The Presidents capture his being hailed as a major victory for the Federal Government which was quick to issue thanks to the local authorities who were vital in his capture. The President is currently being held in Federal Custody on multiple felonies including but not limited to high treason, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and charges of international terrorism.

USA Turn 10 - April-June 1923
Diplomacy
Work to negotiate an end to the sanctions and embargo placed against the united states for the actions of the previous president and government agencies, offer a fully transparent deep investigation into the actions of these agencies to hold the rest of the previous administration accountable, open up requests to the British French and Germans, to assist in this investigation and request files on findings from their interrogations with the terrorists.
In regards to the previous president, The usa must acknowledge he must face justice in america for the treacherous crimes committed against the government and the people of the united states, however as the former president is sure to be found guilty, and executed, I would leave a invitation to france and germany to send one of their best marksman each to join american marksman in the firing squad execution of the former president.
