If this attains enough interest, I'm thinking about doing an RP set in the Star Trek universe, in the late 24th century.
This RP takes place in the System of Grimbrog 84, a system stranded inside a nebula filled with Vega particles. What makes this system unique is there inability to send sub-space transmissions and warp drive malfunctions, thanks to the Vega particles that inhabit the nebula. Although this is unknown to their visitors, the Federation, Klingons, and (Cardassians or Romulans, depends on what we decide) who stumble into the natural trap. With the three states at odds, it is impossible to predict what will happen. Will they fight each other until their enemy's extinction in the star system, will they cooperate to find a way out of the perplexing Nebula, or might they try and colonize and the already inhabited planetoids existing in the star system.
So the idea is everyone is a ship captain, with their own ship, and is stuck in the star system, working with whomever else chooses the same faction as them, or not. It won't be a turn based, but its not personal, you write the turn as the ship, or the settlement, or the ship and settlement, or whatever you end up commanding. This is still a big work in progress so whatever you guys think would be fun, could totally be added.
